"ONE DAY I DISCOVERED A BOOK THAT HAD THOUSANDS OF DRAWINGS. I had more pictures than words. I did not know how to read, but in that book even the restless things like fire, smoke, clouds, insects and birds, could be seen clearly. What surprised me the most was seeing that everything was made of the same thing, and above all, that it was too simple and light. Through drawing, I can define the shapes and volumes of pieces that I want to study. The drawing is a priority mechanism in my way of creation, this allows me to explore multiple versions of an idea, decant and have a more accurate version. Among multiple line and color techniques I seek to explore ways that fit my questions and serve as a preliminary study before being made.

“UN DIA DESCUBRI UN LIBRO QUE TENÍA MILES DE DIBUJOS. Tenia mas dibujos que palabras. No sabía leer, pero en ese libro hasta las cosas inquietas como el fuego, el humo, las nubes, los insectos y los pájaros, se podían ver con claridad. Lo que más me sorprendió fue ver que allí todo estaba hecho de lo mismo, y sobre todo, que eso mismo era demasiado simple y leve. Por medio del dibujo, logro definir las formas y volúmenes de piezas que quiero estudiar. El dibujo es un mecanismo prioritario en mi modo de creación, este me permite explorar múltiples versiones de una idea, decantar y llegar a una versión más acertada. Entre múltiples técnicas de línea y color busco explorar formas que se adecuen a mis preguntas y sirvan de estudio previo antes de ser realizadas.
